Wizards did a print run of 110 of these cards to be handed out to family members and important Wizards employees
Because Japanese boxes reliably contain a few high-rarity cards, ultra-rare cards in Japan dont tend to reach the extreme prices that random chance sometimes drives in English
I also think that Charizard's Poke-Power has a vast amount of potential and could easily make any non-fire deck that much more powerful
If only we knew then what we know now about these early sets
