It has utility for other enchantment creatures as well, like Eerie or Constellation triggers

Maybe WotC was nervous about potential leaks, since they'd have to present those Final Fantasy cards to different parties ahead of time, but whatever the reason, the whole Commander set has been revealed weeks before the main set's full spoiler

It feels like maybe it's just not that deep, I guess, and if you're only playing in LoTR it could maybe be a mana-fixer

All still provide one of the most efficient and immediate returns on cards for the mana and still see occasional use but with most decks being more traditional agro, midrange and control these cards are too risky and too symmetrical to be appropriate very often
